Cherie graduated from Deakin University in 2011 from Exercise and Sport Science with Distinction and has since graduated from
The University of Canberra with her Masters in Physiotherapy. Cherie has a strong passion for actively involving patients in their rehabilitation and achieves this through effective communication, education and a combination different of treatment strategies. She believes that open communication is an important aspect of treatment and this assists her to personally tailor patient goals and treatment options.
Cherie highly values evidence based treatment strategies and actively seeks out further professional development. She is skilled in a variety of manual techniques and uses these in combination with strengthening and Pilates based rehabilitation. Having played both Volleyball and Basketball, Cherie has a special interest in treating players and athletes from these sports and is actively involved in the sporting community. Cherie practices what she preaches and you can often spot her in a Pilates session at our gym in South Melbourne.
